Walking Group

Our walking group usually meets once a month on a Thursday.

The walks are combined with either lunch after a morning walk or tea and cake following an afternoon walk.

• Byron's Pool and Trumpington Country Park
• Thriplow
• Wandlebury
• Barton - starting from Burwash Cafe

Planned walks are to:

• Shepreth
• Fowlmere Nature Reserve
• Foxton Woods
• Coton Nature Reserve

Theatre / Cinema Group

We have enjoyed a performance of Much Ado About Nothing by Cambridge Shakespeare Festival and are looking forwrd to a return visit.

My Cousin Rachel at Cambridge Arts Theatre was also greatly enjoyed by members.

Social Events

Instead of a  regular meeting in January we regularly organise a coffee morning for members and their friends.

Other socail gatherings have been at a members' beautiful garden in the village and to the Fitzwilliam Museum to view the Feast & Fast: The Art of Food in Europe 1500-1800 exhibition  followed by lucnch at Browns Brasserie!

Federation Events

Our members regularly support Cambridge Federation events and outings.

These have included visits to London, historical houses, Southwold Summer theatre and the Federation Jigsaw evening.
